We sat to talk, and I learned everything about the Iguana that is stealing the hearts of all kids. Lorenzo and I were able to watch last years musical and he was enchanted from beginning to end. I wanted to know more about this adorable green iguana that stole my son’s attention. Which by the way, is not an easy thing to do.
I’d like to start by asking why an Iguana?
“We were looking for an animal because kids love animals! An Iguana is an animal typical of Latin America. It can be found in many places like Mexico, Brazil the Caribbean and the Amazon. We wanted to have an animal that would symbolize all our countries. Also, an Iguana is a very colorful animal that can open up to many facets of what we wanted to do. “- Ronit Shiro
What was the inspiration behind creating
“Juana la Iguana was born out of the search for fun children’s programs that will combine education, and entertainment for preschool kids in Spanish. At that time, we were based in Venezuela and we couldn’t find a program for kids in Spanish that would foster positive values and remain fun and entertaining. Along our history, Juana la Iguana preserves the same values and mission, but it expands her reach to other latitudes. We are proud to continue to offer fun educational content for bilingual speaking families. “- Ronit Shiro
What is Juana’s mission?
“Juana la Iguana develops innovative and trustworthy bilingual products that take children on a fun journey full of inspiration, magic, design, humor and kindness – all while discovering Latin American culture. We cultivate a community of parents, grandparents and educators that share our vision. Although kids of all ages love our music and fun videos, the best age for kids to enjoy Juana la Iguana is from 2-6 years old. “- Ronit Shiro
Stay Tuned for new surprises for 2018 as Juana la Iguana will be back this year!
